Prologue: Thieves of the Guardia Forest
Crono, the spiky red-headed warrior of time, was now living a normal life (Well, as normal as a celebrity’s life).Since he and his friends: Lucca, Marle (Heir to the Guardia throne), Frog (An expert swordsman from the middle ages), Robo (A humanoid robot from 2,300 C.E.), and Ayla (A feral cavewoman from 65,000,000,000 B.C.E.), defeated Lavos, a powerful entity that almost turned Earth into an ash tray in the year 1999 C.E., people never left them alone!
Statues, holidays, even foods had been made in their honor! They had everything you would expect a celebrity to have. Crono’s mother couldn’t even go shopping without being harassed by the press (One day she even asked the king for personal body guards).
At first, Crono and friends liked the popularity a lot! But then they realized that the press or public will never leave them alone. They even resorted to disguises, but let’s just say that it didn’t turn out so well. . .
One day, Crono and his friends had decided on having a meeting in the Guardia Castle, the safest place for them. In order to get to the castle, you must first hike through the Guardia Forest. Crono and his friends have been using Epoch, their flying time machine, to get everywhere. But this time, Crono decided to hike through the forest instead.
To Crono’s misfortune, he got lost. “Dang! I’m lost!” he simply yelled. Not knowing that he had just attracted a band of thieves, he kept walking. He soon wandered into a part of the forest where he realized that there were no longer any birds singing.
Then, he heard a rustle in the bushes. Suspicious, Crono drew out his Katana, but it was already too late. . .
Chapter One: Another Adventure
“Uagh . . .” Crono had just awoken from being painfully beaten with metal poles that had been sharpened to cause more damage. Crono’s whole body was bruised and bloody. He reached for some to tonics to heal his wounds, but his items were gone! His equipment and even his money were all gone! All he had left were some bandages.
With a grunt, Crono decided to bandage some of his smaller wounds. After that, Crono looked around and realized that he was in a locked cabin, inside a boat.
“Oh god, I’ve been abducted!” Crono thought. He looked out the cabin window and realized that he had been out cold for quite some time because he was on the Atlantic Ocean!
He decided it was too dangerous to wander outside, so he decided to wait until nightfall.
In order to pass the time, he went to sleep.

Crono awoke to the sound of his cabin door being broken down. He looked up and saw. . . Ayla! Marle, Lucca, Robo, and Frog were also there. Crono was glad and confused about seeing them miles away from home with him on a boat filled with thieves.
“How did you . . .” Ayla put her hand on Crono’s mouth. “We tell later, first we get out okay?” Since Ayla was born before grammar and punctuation were invented, it was sometimes hard to understand what she was saying, but Crono understood that time. He simply nodded and his Katana and other things were handed back to him.
Lucca was the first to speak afterwards. “The cockpit of the ship is that way,” she pointed left.
“All right everyone, let’s go!” exclaimed Marle. And with that, everyone dashed toward the cock pit.
