Chapter 2

“Sir, the security systems have detected an unknown group of people,” the bandit executive said to the bandit leader.

“Send out all our men, I wanna see if they're a threat to us”

“But sir, wouldn't it be much easier if we just eliminated them right. . . “

“I'm not paying you to give me your opinions! Go do what I said!!!”

“Yes sir. Right away sir. . .” the bandit executive sighed and sent word to all the other bandits on ship.

Meanwhile, back with Crono and his friends. . .

‘This is way too easy; there's gotta be some sort of security system. Like some alarm at least.' Crono wasn't sure if this escape was going to be this easy.

Suddenly, Crono yelled out, “Speak of the devil!” For a group of bandits had attacked!

“You're not going anywhere!!!” The bandits yelled in unison.

“Oh, we see who doing the sound making later!” Ayla was preparing for a tailspin attack! She started spinning slowly. Then, she began to spin faster and faster until she started making a gale force wind!

“Miss Ayla, you did not have to treat those people so cruelly,”

“You right, Me sorry Robo,”

“Lets not waste anymore time here you guys, come on!” Marle simply ordered. So after this, the bandits just kept coming, but Crono handled them all easily with his Lightning 2 spell.

So as they approached the cockpit, they were stopped by a mysterious man. He was wearing a black, hooded, robe so you couldn't see anything else but his clothing. “Where do u think you're going?”

“Out of here! That's where we're going! Now move aside or we'll beat you down like the rest of these idiots!” Everyone was silent after realizing that Frog had actually spoken like them and not all Old English like he always did.

The mysterious man was the first to speak. “The enemy of my enemy is my ally. . .”

“Huh?” Ayla spoke with a confused look on her face. “You no make no sense man,” Marle whispered an explanation of what the mysterious man was trying to say. “Oh ok, so u want join us in our escape?

“No, but I will tell you that these people should not be underestimated.” And with that the man threw a smoke bomb onto the ground and disappeared.

“Come on lets go!! The cockpit is this way!!!” everyone followed Lucca to the cockpit, almost completely forgetting about that strange encounter.

SLAM! The cockpit door just broke down thanks to Ayla's strength.

“So you finally made it here, well too bad you're going to die,” The
bandit leader pointed his sniper rifle at Crono and fired. But at the same time Ayla's cat like reflexes allowed her to use a “Triple Kick” attack and the bullet went flying toward Robo instead, though the bullet did nothing to him.

The bandit leader aimed at Ayla but this time she took hold of him and hurl him out the window.

“Gyaaaaaaa!!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!” After a very loud splash everyone laughed at how easy it was to beat the bandit leader.

Their laughter was interrupted by a loud female type voice coming out of all the intercoms. ”The self-destruct sequence has been activated. This sequence cannot be aborted. All units evacuate immediately. Repeat, all units evacuate immediately.”
